TTC's Roots in Ignite The Culture

TTC's relationship with Ignite The Culture Weekend runs back to 2024, when Anthony Durden — founder of S.H.E.A.R. Inc. and a bridge between TTC and Circle of Brotherhood — connected Talent4Change with the ITC team. That connection turned into a full sponsorship: T4C brought its Change Rover to all three days of that year's event.

Day one, July 18, was at Miami Northwestern High School, alongside the Celebrity Basketball Game and Mental Health Panel. T4C ran a DJ workshop out of the Change Rover hosted by Brotha Scott, drawing in a steady stream of youth and their families — including the family of one of that year's more popular basketball game participants.

Day two, July 19, moved to Circle of Brotherhood HQ for a mentorship‑focused day: a "Stylist Boost" workshop, with the Change Rover converted into a mobile barbershop; music from DJ Smoke, repping fellow TTC and Circle of Brotherhood member Popp Da Rippa's label I.C.E. Squad Ent.; and football and basketball mentorship sessions, as men from the community came together to mentor youth who may not have a father or parents active in their life.

Day three, July 20, was the Talent Search Competition at the African‑American Cultural Center in Fort Lauderdale, with celebrity judges Locksmith, Sa‑Roc, Mysonne, and more. Inside the Change Rover, a mini stage was built with a hanging vintage microphone, a guitar, a keyboard, and a box drum — Talent Search performers took photos and videos as the "band," a set piece that became one of the day's most‑shared visuals.

That day is also where TTC's involvement paid off most directly: TTC presented its Talent Search opportunity to member Lil Yellow, who took first place — his trophy reads "Top Male Performer, Inspiring Change Through Music." After the win, Lil Yellow credited Michael directly — he'd been advised to perform with live vocals over an instrumental rather than over a fully pre‑recorded track, while several close competitors lost points for performing over already‑recorded vocals. That edge is what won it.

That three‑day run is what grew into the ongoing 2026 ITC/TTC/T4C partnership.
