The son of Bob Marley, Julian "JuJu" Marley won Best Reggae Album at the 2024 GRAMMYs for Colors of Royal and fronts The Uprising on stages from Beijing's Olympic Games to a 20‑plus date UK/Europe run in 2026. Off stage, he's built a real business behind the music — the JuJu Royal wellness and cannabis brands, an organic grow line with Biobizz, and a Nine Mile apparel collaboration — all bookable through The Talent Catalog for performances, private and corporate events, brand activations, and partnerships.

About
Born June 4, 1975, in London to Lucy Pounder — the only one of Bob Marley's children born in the UK — Julian grew up between England and Jamaica, teaching himself guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards and recording his first demo at the Marley family's Tuff Gong Studios as a child.
Julian emerged professionally through the Ghetto Youths movement alongside his brothers and launched his solo recording career with Lion in the Morning in 1996. His subsequent work — including A Time and Place, the Grammy‑nominated Awake, and As I Am — established him as a respected voice in contemporary reggae, backed by extensive international touring, collaborations across the Marley family, and performances on major global stages including the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
In 2023, Julian entered a new creative chapter with Colors of Royal, his collaboration with producer Antaeus, expanding into electronic, Latin, and African influences while keeping his reggae foundation intact. The album won Best Reggae Album at the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards in 2024 — his first win — and the pair earned a fourth Grammy nomination the following year for Best Remixed Recording.
Beyond music, Julian has built a working portfolio of ventures under his own name. He founded JuJu Royal, a hemp‑derived CBD wellness brand sold in all 50 states, and JuJu Royal Premium, a state‑legal cannabis line. In 2024 he partnered with Biobizz on an organic‑certified grow nutrient and substrate line, born out of a soil‑restoration research project he co‑led in Nine Mile, Jamaica — and he fronts a Nine Mile Clothing apparel collaboration. Each is available for brand partnerships, retail activations, and appearances alongside his music bookings.
Julian's artistry is grounded in themes of love, spirituality, resilience, positivity, social consciousness, and connection — a balance between honoring reggae's roots and helping move the genre forward that extends into his humanitarian work through the Ghetto Youths Foundation and the "No More Movement," which he founded in Ethiopia in 2021.
That momentum carried through 2026: a 20‑plus date UK and Europe run with The Uprising behind his Give to Life single, and a headline stop at Thailand's "Reggae Rumble" festival, alongside new releases including Easy Now with Exco Levi and King Cruff. He currently draws roughly 640,000 monthly Spotify listeners, with catalog favorite "Boom Draw" past 31 million streams.
As an artist, performer, brand founder, and humanitarian, Julian Marley represents a living connection between reggae's enduring roots and its evolving global future — carrying forward a powerful musical legacy while building a path, and a business, that is unmistakably his own.
