KATIAHSHÉ

Chellie G (real name Michelle Garcia) was born to Cuban parents who were both musicians and actors, giving her an artistic lineage that traces back to her great‑great‑grandfather, the celebrated 19th‑century Cuban poet Juan Cristóbal Nápoles Fajardo, known by his pen name "El Cucalambé." That heritage — and professional training — shaped her path as a vocalist and entertainer.

She records and performs under two names: Chellie G, her R&B/soul identity, and Katiahshé, a name she took from one of her spirit guides, under which she does her house‑music work. As Katiahshé, she is one‑third of A.C.H.É.: The Afro‑Cuban House Experiment, alongside legendary Miami house producer Oscar G (one half of MURK) and percussionist Oba Frank Lords. Miami New Times described their live sound as a fusion of "old, Afro‑Cuban culture with the new American, very Miami element of hip‑hop, freestyle, and more soulful house" — Katiahshé's layered, unmistakably live vocals over Oscar G's production and Lords' percussion, so authentic that audiences often mistake them for samples.

Under the SoulStar Records banner, she also performs as Chellie G with The Chellie G Live Show, her R&B/soul live act based in Miami.

Connection to TTC/T4C

Chellie G performed at the Trick Luvs Da Kids Annual Xmas Toy Drive on behalf of Talent4Change, alongside fellow TTC members Prodigal Son and HumanSoul. (Trick Luvs Da Kids is Miami rapper Trick Daddy's long‑running annual holiday toy giveaway, now in its 19th‑plus year, run with YCHS. Katiahshé has also been part of the same circle of TTC connections from its humble beginnings; since when TTC was The Talent Catalogue during its early 2000's PopRox era. So it's safe to say that Chellie G./Katiahshé has had a front row seat to TTC/T4C's development.
