King Blackman is a Gospel Hip Hop pioneer, minister, speaker, and community leader whose music is rooted in faith, redemption, and purpose. Celebrating 25 years of ministry through music, he has dedicated his life to sharing the hope of Jesus Christ through authentic storytelling and dynamic performances.

Born in New York City and raised in Mobile, Alabama, King Blackman's life was transformed after overcoming addiction, gang involvement, and incarceration. Since surrendering his life to Christ in 2001, he has traveled throughout the United States, ministering in churches, schools, prisons, recovery programs, conferences, festivals, and community events, using his testimony to inspire hope and lasting change.

As the Founder and CEO of Blackman Music Group, Inc. and Community Director at the Warriors Center in Memphis, Tennessee, King Blackman serves individuals overcoming addiction, homelessness, and other life‑controlling challenges. His ministry extends far beyond the stage, combining music with mentorship, outreach, and community leadership.
