Lil Yellow is a Miami rapper, singer and songwriter who makes groove‑driven, feel‑good alternative hip‑hop. He won Top Male Performer at the 2024 Ignite the Culture Talent Search, judged by Locksmith, Goalden Chyld and DJ Newmark, and has performed at Liberty City's long‑running Christmas on 15th Ave. Parade & Festival. He sings and raps live instead of performing over a pre‑recorded vocal track. Book him for showcases, festivals, college and community events, and any stage that needs energy and good vibes.

About
Lil Yellow has been building "Yellow Nation" since 2017. He releases music through his own Yellow Nation imprint and describes his sound as "groovy music for good vibes and good people." His style blends rap, melodic singing and funk, and fits alongside artists like Anderson .Paak, Mac Miller, Smino and Tyler, the Creator.
His catalog is built like a school career: Freshman (2020), Sophomore (2021) and Senior (2024). Along the way he also released the 20‑track Here Ya Go (The Mixtape) (2022), a story‑driven project with skits, and the 21‑track collection Misadventures of Yellow (2025). Since then he has put out steady singles: "Twin" and "Do You Ever?" (2025), then "Buss Down Bonnet," "Need Ya" (feat. Kyro Montana), "Paranoid," "See Ya Face" (feat. Ezra Violet) and "Stick N Move" (2026).
The name comes from his own story. His older brother called him "Little," and "Yellow" was a nickname from pickup basketball that others meant as a jab. He decided to own it. The Riff on Medium profiled that attitude in a 2022 feature called "Lil Yellow's Music is the Ray of Sunshine We All Need."
On stage, he performs with live vocals over instrumentals, not over pre‑recorded vocal tracks. That choice won him the Top Male Performer trophy at the Ignite the Culture Talent Search on July 20, 2024, at the African‑American Research Library and Cultural Center in Fort Lauderdale. The judges were Locksmith, Goalden Chyld and DJ Newmark, and ITC founder Brawley Anthony Sanchez provided live commentary. On December 17, 2022, he performed at the 15th Annual Christmas on 15th Ave. Parade & Festival, the Ark of the City's Liberty City parade, festival and toy giveaway. His other live work includes filmed sets such as Yellow Live 01/24/24, a full 38‑minute performance, and recent shows in Central Florida, including a July 2026 bill at Dolittle Cafe & GFM Lounge in Sanford.
He has a strong online following: more than 172K TikTok likes, a clip with over 373K views, and a YouTube channel of nearly 500 videos, including his long‑running "Yellow Days" vlog series.
Connection to TTC: Lil Yellow found The Talent Catalog by chance. He and a friend came across TTC founder Michael Caraballo and his son, Executed By X, working on the Change Rover's sound system in a quiet corner of Miami's Wynwood Art District. Executed By X listened to Lil Yellow's music and approved it, and Lil Yellow became a TTC member. The meeting led straight into his breakout single "Groove" (2020), whose music video was partly shot using the Change Rover. It's still his most‑viewed music video.
TTC has kept bringing him stage opportunities since then. In December 2022, TTC presented him with a spot at the Christmas on 15th Ave. Parade & Festival, where he performed several songs alongside fellow TTC members Achileez and Yeshy. In 2024, when Anthony Durden of S.H.E.A.R. Inc. connected TTC with Ignite the Culture Weekend, TTC brought the Talent Search to Lil Yellow and coached his performance. The key advice was to perform with live vocals over an instrumental. Several close competitors lost points for singing over pre‑recorded vocals, Lil Yellow took Top Male Performer, and he publicly thanked TTC for the advice.
